Our journey began with a vision to create more than just activewear—something that inspires people to push harder, live fully, and embrace freedom through activity. But at its core, Libre is about family. It’s built by a family, for families, to help them stay active together and create stronger connections.

Libre isn’t just my dream; it’s a shared passion. The name was my wife’s idea, and like me, she’s always believed in the importance of giving back to the community. Together, we’ve always wanted to make a difference, and Libre is our way of doing just that. Through this brand, we aim to support initiatives that provide opportunities for people—especially kids—to stay active and engaged, giving them the freedom to pursue their dreams. Our family’s values of connection, perseverance, and helping others are at the heart of everything Libre stands for.

At the heart of Libre is the concept of being Libre Strong. This isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about helping each other as a community. When we lift each other up, support one another, and work towards a common goal, we all become stronger. This sense of community strength is what drives Libre, and it’s what makes us more than just a brand. It’s a family-inspired mission to empower others, create opportunities, and foster freedom through activity.

The vision for Libre had always been in the works, but in August 2023, a special moment gave me the opportunity to keep building. I took a chance, entered a contest, and hit a home run on the third swing, winning $103,600. That moment didn’t just symbolize financial freedom—it was a reflection of our family’s values: taking risks, believing in yourself, and pushing through challenges. This win gave me the opportunity to leave behind my career as a Director of IT and fully focus on bringing Libre to life. It also reinforced my responsibility to give back, not just for myself but for my family and the community we hope to serve.

As we continue to build Libre, our family has chosen hats as the first key product to fuel our growth. These hats will be personally assembled, tagged, packaged, and shipped from our home, making each piece even more special. This first collection will serve as a stepping stone to reinvest into our next phase of designing and manufacturing a full range of activewear. Every step of this process is a family effort, reflecting the love, dedication, and connection we hope to share through Libre.

We're currently in the process of ordering samples from manufacturers to find the perfect blend of comfort, quality, and durability for the full Libre Activewear line. Our goal is to create pieces that inspire movement while ensuring you stay comfortable and confident throughout your day. We’re committed to using materials that feel good, perform well, and last. Additionally, we’re exploring sustainable options, aligning perfectly with our mission of giving back to both the community and the planet. Sustainability is a key part of our family’s approach, making Libre a brand that truly gives back in every way.

Being a positive role model for you is the most important part of this journey. That’s why I’ve made you a part of it, helping to build this brand from the ground up.
